Salonpas-Pain Relieving Patch, 120 PatchesReviewsSalonpas work great for muscle pain! I use them on my back under my shoulder blades, and also on my shoulders (trapezius muscles). They are very comfortable and relieve pain well for 4-6 hours. They do not work for situations in which inflammation-related problems are causing the pain. Ibuprofen is better for these things. But if you have muscle pain, try these for temporary relief! :) I LOVE this stuff! I get neck pain every now & then & while using Biofreeze gel helps, Salonpas does the job WAY better! My only minor gripes are: 1) the patches don't come in skin tone colors (although it is fun telling people I'm using a nicotine patch & not to judge me just for kicks); & 2) the adhesive works so well it removes all of the hair off my neck when time comes to take off the patch. Sometimes it'll even leave a red spot where I removed the patch. BUT that's nothing compared to the wonderful pain-eliminating results I've gotten from using these patches. These are a very convenient size for knees and smaller body parts, and they work very well. They are very menthol though, they smell like mint gum but not unpleasantly medicine-y like other products. Application is nice and neat because they are patches not a cream. The patches are made of a white fabric, and the little diagram on the front is suggested application places so if your back is the problem you'd use 4 in the area your back hurts. They come packaged two on one strip of plastic, one on the front, one on the back. Nice cooling sensation. For my back, I prefer the Salonpas capsicum large patches because heat works better for me than cool, but for my knees and other minor sprains, I love these so much. This pad gave me good temporary topical relief for severe neck pain and headache. It went on easily and adhered very well, much better than the more expensive Bengay patch which worked loose at the edges. There was no strong ointment smell (unlike the strong Menthol of the Bengay patch) and no more than a mild burning sensation which soon eased. This is a very good topical remedy at a good price. I was looking for alternative ways to treat my knee and wrist. I hated taking aspirin or motrin, The aspirin seemed to aggravate my vertigo and the Motrin after taking them many years started affecting my stomach. I found this at Wal-Mart and thought what the heck I'll give it a try. I am a huge fan now...I am so happy I can treat the painful area only!! Average Rating:![]() |

SALONPAS Large Pain Relief Patches - - 5 PAK of 4 = 20 total - SAVE $$$ !ReviewsI have many bad disc injuries and use this in the large size and it works wonders. contains aspirin! My husband and I have both used salonpas patches both for RA and for back and joint pain. They worked so well we have recommended to several friends now we all use them. They give great fast relief and the size is perfect for any area. We would highly recommend. Although the SalonPas is a great product; it relieves aches and pains,it is much less expensive at a regular drug store. After YEARS of assorted pain medications, creams, lotions, ice, heat etc. for osteoarthritis, my husband is finally able to sleep pain free with salonpas patches! They are a miracle for us! And so inexpensive comparatively! Salonpas are a blessing! Average Rating:![]() |
