It took a few days to break in, but it helps my wrist when typing and driving. I'll buy again. The price was a quarter of the "custom sized" one I almost bought locally at a specialty store - and they're basically the same item.

When I began wearing this it was quite uncomfortable trying to type on my keyboard at work....my first thought was that I wanted to take it off. But then I guessed that the reason it felt so uncomfortable was because I'd been holding my wrist in the wrong position for so long. So I stuck with it. And after only a weeks time I felt less and less pain in my hand and arm, just like it said I would. Overall, I recommend it and agree it does the job it says it will. I am very happy with the results.

My wife had been looking for a good brace for a long time. She is in her early 60's and does Yoga classes, as well as knit a lot. Many of the yoga positions and exercises put a lot of pressure on her wrist. Some of these really hurt and she was afraid of injuring her wrist, so she would skip some. Did an Amazon search and found this one. Her concern was that the support bars in the brace would interfere or possibly "dig" into her skin and otherwise be uncomfortable. NOT SO!! After trying it, this is the best brace she has ever used - supportive, comfortable, and even decent looking. In short it is perfect!! Note, she does have small wrists - and this was great for her. It would definitely fit wrists somewhat larger than hers (as there are adjustable velcro straps), but might be uncomfortable for people with wrists on the large size. She bought both the left and right and loves them - totally!!! As noted, she also knits a lot and does not recommend them for that type of utilization.

I ordered a pair due to a review about the underside getting dirty quickly, although I have not found that an issue. I co-worker tried it on and it was too tight for her wrist. She is larger boned than I. I have found it to be much more comfortable than any other support I have bought in the past. I definitely recommend this product.

First of all, the idea that this product is made "for women" is just a marketing ploy to get money from those people who will buy something if they can be fooled into believing that it was made "specially for them". This is a nice, comfortable, soft wrist brace that will fit most people, regardless of gender, orientation, race, or planet of origin, if they have wrists on the small side. I'm a man with 6.25 inch circumference wrists, and it works great. It is not the softest wrist support I've ever used. But it is reasonably comfortable and good for wearing to bed. I don't wear it during the day. Before this, I was wearing the IMAK smart glove, which amazon also sells. That is softer (and warmer, for better or worse) than this Wellgate wrist support, but it is not rigid. It allows some movement. The Wellgate is rigid and well designed so that the Velcro doesn't drag along the flannel sheets picking up lint as you sleep.

Most women's carpal tunnel gloves are hideous and an unattractive tannish color..this glove is silver, matches with anything, stylish, form fitting, and best of all..comfortable!! When I wear it, my hand is very well supported and immobilized while I type and do clerical tasks yet allows me enough flexibility and movement to move my fingers when I need to...overall, it's a very exceptional carpal tunnel glove!

I have purchased the Imak Arthritis Gloves a couple of times and have found them to be the best arthritis gloves I have found. They are comfortable, warm, provide slight pressure, and leave my fingers free. They are much nicer than latex or other types of gloves sold for arthritis, wash easily, retain their shape, and do not collect lint. I sleep in them every night and use them during the day when I am doing needlework or when my hands are cold and I still need to be able to use my fingers. I highly recommend the Imak Arthritis Gloves and do not know how I ever managed without them.

this says pack of two, which should mean two PAIRS of gloves; however, in one place on amazon this company says "Brand New in Factory Sealed Packaging This is for a single pair of gloves not for 2 pairs but 2 gloves to make a pair"- if you will look elsewhere you will see that a single PAIR of gloves cost about 13-15 dollars- I would suggest that you spend a little more and buy one pair at a time- I ordered a pack of two, just got one box; amazon was going to replace it with another pack of two (for whatever reason, they could not send me another pair) and I was going to have to send the one pair I received back to amazon- it really isn't rocket science, and I hate to give this company one star as I have not even purchased from them, but I quoted verbatim what they have as a description of what you would get, and that would not be right- I really do like the gloves- and I am not saying this seller is doing this intentionally; somebody is just not thinking it through- if I can be shown that they've corrected this I will take this rating down-

As an adult worman, I have small hands, but small was too tight. Medium is not as tight, but the fingers are longer and almost reach the end of my fingers. They are nice though and keep my hands warm and gently supported. They are machine washable and dryable and do not shrink. I would order them again.

I love this product, bought the medium for my mom and the small for me... keep my hands warm and the level of compression is great, I can move my fingers without problem. Better than other bulky gloves.

The office I spend most of my day in is often very cold. I spend most of my time on a keyboard, and my hands and fingers would get really cold. I looked at a lot of different fingerless gloves, but these looked like the best fit for what I wanted. Not only are they a nice weight, but they definitely help keep my hands warm. I've even been wearing them outside (sometimes under a pair of thicker winter gloves). It's nice to be able to work my iPhone while still keeping my hands covered up a bit.

I like to knit and crochet, but sometimes the pain in my hands is too much. These gloves feel wonderful, the light compression is just right, The way the samll size fits is a bonus. They even look nice. They keep your hands warm, not sweaty, I wear them to sleep. I bought some for my mom and my aunt and they just love them, they are both in their mid 80's!!! A wonderful and practical gift.

Okay these gloves are great! I am training to be a Sign Language Interpreter and purchased these gloves to keep my hands and wrists warm to be prepared for my ASL class. I have already converted 2 others to this idea. They are wonderful and keep perfect compression and warmth (if your hands don't swell or anything) Like another reviewer these gloves stitching did fall apart even though I've only had them a few days. I can repair the stitches but it is a little annoying that I have to. The overall quality of these gloves is great except for the stitching because the stitching on the fingers is exposed it is extremely easy to get it caught on things and tear the thread causing the need for repairs. In my case I believe it is because I let one of my class mates try them on and her acrylics tore the thread, but it may just be poor sewing. Overall these are great gloves, I appologize for the essay I just want my review to really help others understand the quality of these arthritis gloves.

I bought them for my wife and they are a great help for hand pain

My daugther has some kind of problem she looses blood circulation when she touches cold items. Her hands will turn white. So I had been looking for something that would help her keep her hands warmer and she would still be able to do her secretarial work. I think we found something that helps. She is still giving them a try, but at last word, they help. A concerned Dad

I'm in my 30's and have had arthritis for almost 14 years. The pain in my hands has been getting worse and has become more disruptive over the last couple of years, and I've tried several things to find relief, including topical OTC creams as well as heat wraps and other "compression" gloves. I just received my IMAK Arthritis gloves yesterday, and I've worn them almost non-stop since then, even while sleeping. Not only do they help my hands stay warmer (which is always a boon when dealing with arthritis), they provide support and mild compression without being uncomfortable. The gloves are not unattractive, and they are thin enough to be worn under my regular winter gloves when going outside. The swelling in the joints of my fingers is already noticeably reduced. I will definitely be ordering at least one more pair since the washing instructions say to hand wash (I'll be using the delicate cycle and putting them in a lingerie bag) and line dry. I have to say that I'm more excited about the results I am seeing from these gloves than I've been about the results/relief achieved from any of the medications, creams and heat wraps I've tried. I definitely recommend these gloves above any other I've tried.

Futuro Anti-Embolism Stockings, White, Knee Length, Closed Toe, 1 Pair Futuro Anti-Embolism Stockings, White, Knee Length, Closed Toe, 1 Pair

I bought these stockings in hopes that they would help the swelling in my ankles and calves on long-haul flights. I have just arrived in Germany from the West coast of the USA and am extremely happy to report that I can see my ankle bones! These stockings are a miracle!

I developed a blood clot after a flight last month and have been on blood thinners. Walking was difficult and my feet were always swollen. Acting on my doctor's advice I purchased compression stockings made in Europe. But the stockings were waist high, thick and virtually impossible to get on. They were more like some Victorian contraption and quite expensive but were the only things available locally. Needless to say I wore them twice and just could not tolerate them afterward. Then I saw these Futura stockings on Amazon and with some hesitation ordered them out of desperation. To my surprise and joy they really work! They are very easy to slip on (it takes about 2 minutes) and even more comfortable to wear. My swelling has gone down at least 50% and I can walk without pain.

These are a compression stocking that look like just about any plain white knee-high. They fit well and make my legs feel great. I initially bought this pair of compression stockings for a long plane trip (on the advice of one of my co-workers who is an RN). My legs felt so great when wearing them I've bought several pairs now. I did not think I had a problem with lowwer leg swelling but at the end of the day when wearing these stockings I can tell the difference.

Good product all in all. I find they last me a month to two months, but I'm very active and always on my feet. This product has 18mmHg of compression pressure I would recommend up to 22mmHg of compression, if you have severe tried feet or severe varicose veins, but ask your Dr. of course. Get it on the scheduled delivery its a few bucks cheaper. I payed [...] bucks at a pharmacy, so this was a much better deal.

After working on concrete for 25 years, my legs and feet HURT. I then became disabled. My feet and legs still hurt. Now I had an additional problem. My lower legs swelled because I spent to much sedentary time. While seeing a doctor for another problem he remarked about my legs. He suggested that I find a drugstore that carried this product. They were a bit pricey, but I decided to try them.I purchased a single pair. I liked them. While wearing them I didn't even notice that I was wearing something different than my standard tube sock. My aching legs almost entirely disappeared. I searched online and found this product at a much better price through www.Amazon.com I purchased several pair and am happy with the product and Amazon.com.

I'm an IT guy and always on the computer typing away and using the mouse. I used to have issues on my mouse hand and wrist, but I wear this now and it does a great job of preventing problems. It also acts as a wrist rest since it's a hard material under your wrist. It's basically a barrier between your wrist and desk so your skin isn't rubbing or having undue pressure applied when you're using the mouse. It's easy to type with it on too...not restrictive.

PAIR of Thermoskin Carpal Tunnel Braces with Dorsal Stay, Black , Left & Right PAIR of Thermoskin Carpal Tunnel Braces with Dorsal Stay, Black , Left & Right

Reviews

I am pleased with these braces. I ordered them as soon as I discovered early symptoms of tendonitis. I work in healthcare, and, because the braces are thin, I am able to wear exam gloves over the top of them. The supports keep my wrists straight and the curve on the palm side allows my hand to rest/hover at the appropriate level when using a mouse. I like the overall design mainly because I can still use my fingers and thumbs for most tasks with little interference. These braces serve their purpose well. After some consistent use, they become more cozy, less stiff, but still maintain good wrist support. I sweat a little on the inside, but there is no unpleasant odor whatsoever and the breathability is satisfying. On a side note, they make me feel like a ninja, which is the most important reason to buy them of course!

I got the comfort that I expected for paying $50 for the ct braces, but am not happy with the quality of the workmanship. I didn't find any factory sealed packaging here as some previous reviews suggested, my braces came together in a zip lock bag (bulk packaging). The braces fit well, size based on measurement is accurate, and are supportive and comfortable. However, the edges of the braces are cheaply stitched and the velcro straps aren't much better. The straps are already starting to shred strands and I'm not convinced that they will be very durable. Side by side, one of the braces is slightly irregular and has more material covering my thumb on the top of my right hand. I guess I just expected them to be of a higher quality than the $12 ct braces that you can buy at Walmart.

I purchased these after research online pointed to a self-diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome. My arm was falling asleep 3 or more nights a week. I read that night bracing can help with this problem which they definately have. I have not woken up with a dead arm once since I purchased these about 3 weeks ago (except for one night when I didn't wear them!). So for functionality, they definately work. However I don't find them comfortable at all. They get extremely hot and are not breathable at all so my skin sweats and gets irritated. So now rather than waking up with a dead arm, I wake up from sweaty uncomfortable claustrophobic wrists. To be fair, the description does say they work to retain heat which is supposed to help with healing but in my opinion they are just way too hot and uncomfortable for me to give them anything more than 3 stars for functionality. Zero points for comfort. I actually really hate wearing them and have a hard time falling asleep because I am so uncomfortable. The hands pictured in the photo must be large male hands because the braces look and feel much more large and cumbersome on my small hands. After I see my doctor and confirm my diagnosis, if she reccomends continuing with the night bracing I am going to look for a brace that is more open and breathable such as the Carpal Lock model. Carpal Lock Wrist Support - Left - Small The transaction with the seller was fine and quick enough, no complaints there.

I just received my Thermoskin Carpal Tunnel Braces with Dorsal Stay. The delivery was very fast and the product was better than I expected. The dorsal stay makes all the difference in the world over other carpal tunnel braces. I have had several in the past that were pretty good but each had their own shortcoming. These are perfect for me. They are very comfortable and having the dorsal stay restrict the upward flexing of my wrist not only reminds me not to stretch my wrist that way, but it also prevents the bottom stay from digging into the inside of my arm hurting the very tendons that are supposed to be protected. Great product! Thanks a lot!

I had been using wrist guards on both wrists for several months, but neither was very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I found this pair and decided to give them a shot and they're PERFECT. They fit comfortably, don't smell, and are super easy to clean. There are 2 splints per brace, one above and one underneath your wrist, as opposed to other guards that are only splinted underneath. The metal splints are easy to access, and with a little digging they will slide right out so you can wash the brace. I have very small wrists and I'd had problems with my old braces making my thumbs hurt. I needed to tighten the straps to get the wrist support, but that would cause the thumb area to dig in and hurt after a while. With these braces, the thumb opening isn't restricting, it's wide and surrounded by soft cloth, not firm edges. There are three adjustable straps -- two around the forearm and one longer one around the wrist -- which help me fit the brace snugly on my little wrists, but not so snug that my thumb starts to hurt. They're advertised to increase the temperature around your wrist, and they certainly do. My hands will sweat a little after wearing them for a long time, but not uncomfortably so. I definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a comfortable, easily washable, and supportive set of wrist braces.

Carpal Tunnel Wrist Brace w/Splint Carpal Tunnel Wrist Brace w/Splint

I use it for both hands. From time to time, I slept the wrong way and mess up my wrist. But using this have help me dealt with the problem. This is a great product, would recommend for all people who have wrist pain, numbness, or tingling fingers.

Worked for me. Held my wrist in place until I could see my Doctor and determine the pain problem. Good, sturdy product. Keep it handy, just in case.

Overall, I was fairly disappointed with this item. I have been using ACE Tek Zone wrist wraps for a couple of years. The Velcro is about worn out, so I thought I'd try something new. I alternate these with some Mueller Compression gloves which provide pain relief but no wrist support. In need of new support, I thought I'd try these Mueller wrist braces... In my opinion, the Mueller brace has the following limitations when compared to the ACE I have been using: - Firm plastic used in the straps. The plastic used on the straps feels ridged, sharp, somewhat noisy. I have read that people may sleep with these types of gloves for relief. I would never consider it with these plastic noisy straps and their sharp edges. - Less wrist immobilizing. The Mueller does immobilize the wrist reasonably, but it does leave a lot more "play" than the ACE I use. - Feels awkward with the unused thumb hoops (it is universal for left/right hands - but that means an unused hoop given its design). This unused loop provides a loose feeling on the pinky side of the hand. I suppose you could argue it adds some freedom - but the unused fabric is out of place. Note that I use a Mueller compression glove that is also universal - but it doesn't add an extra thumb hoop (of course, it doesn't have a metal brace to deal with either). If this is the only way to deal with a universal glove that has a brace, no thanks. It also has an additional problem that doesn't directly compare to the ace brace. The Mueller has a wrap around strap (also on their compression glove where it actually seems to add to the effectiveness of the product). On the wrist brace, the strap applies uncomfortable pressure on the wrist bone where the Ulna connects. It seems to do this by pressing the other hard plastic straps down. It might simply be the dimension of my wrist that aligns that particular bone with the strap, though I am of average build and dimensions. In any case, if I adjust the brace to have enough pressure to immobilize the wrist, it quickly becomes uncomfortable and causes a new kind of pain after a couple of hours. My search for a better brace continues...

This has been spectacular for both a strain and tendonitis. Much better than the old, bulky ones that acted like a cast.

This brace is now less than what I paid - and no wonder....cheap, poorly designed, uncomfortable. Too short.
